About Me

Instructional Technology Teacher. Dancer. Learner.

Follow me on Twitter!
Hi Everyone! My name is Emily Schiller and I am the Instructional Technology teacher at Hyman Fine Elementary School in Attleboro Massachusetts. From the time I was young I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but I also loved technology and media. I was not sure how to incorporate the two until I got to college. I went to Quinnipiac University and Majored in Interactive Media with a minor in Psychology. I was also enrolled for a year in the teaching program at Quinnipiac. After my graduation I knew I wanted to complete my teaching degree. I went to Eastern Connecticut State University and received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I worked for a year as a second grade teacher in Connecticut. I also worked as a dance teacher at this time. I loved my life in Connecticut, but I grew up in Massachusetts and always wanted to move back to the state. I am so glad that I was able to move back to Massachusetts and start working at Hyman Fine! I love being able to incorporate my love for teaching and my passion for technology into one career.

Fun Facts about me:
I spent my last birthday in Macchu Picchu, Peru! I was volunteering at a Preschool in Cusco.
I have a strange fear of celery.
I LOVE the color lime green, and I LOVE elephants.
